Carbon dioxide contains carbon and oxygen, but is not considered an organic molecule. Why? A. It contains carbon B. It contains oxygen C. It lacks hydrogen D. It lacks sodium

Not really sure how to explain why, but the answer is C, it lacks hydrogen. I think it's because all organic compounds have carbon WITH HYDROGEN atom bonds.
