    How did the results of the whiskey rebellion different from the results of Shay's rebellion

    The Whiskey Rebellion results end quickly because Washington want to let the farmers know that the government has power and will use it, but in the Shay's Rebellion the congress/government was to weak to put a end to it. So the Whiskey Rebellion ended quickly because the government/Washington had power over the states and also Washington sent 13,000 soldiers to scare the farmers away.
