    If you divide 4 in by 8 in rectangle from corner to corner what new shapes do you get are they congruent why or why not

    You get two congruent triangles (right) why? Both pairs of opposite sides of a rectangle are congruentand the line you drew from corner to corner is a diagonal which isa side of both triangles and also is the hypotenusethe triangles are congruent by the HL theoremThe hypotenuse is=to itself and either leg of each triangle is congruentHope you understand.
