    Mollusks are known as invertebrate's because of their soft squishy skin and body. Mollusks also do not have legs but move like a slug. Occasionally though a mollusk can form tentacles in order to grab things. Most mollusks also grow a hard shell for protection. In other words… Mollusks are classified as Invertebrates.
