    *Please don't answer if you're under the 8 th grade.*{And don't be a child and come on and post an answer that says: 'I'm not in 8 th grade and I'm answering. What are you going to do about it? '} A set is closed under an operation if performing that operation on two members of the sets results in another member of the set. Is the set of polynomials closed under addition? Subtraction? Explain. Please help, I don't understand this question.

    I think it would be closed under addition because you have more than one set and you want one whole answer with all of them.
