    A) Point A is in quadrant I, because both x and y are positive. B) To find the translated coordinates, you have to follow the stated translation rulex, y) ⇒ (x +1, y-5) (4,2) ⇒ (4+1, 2-5) (5,-3) The translated coordinates of point A' are (5,-3) Point A' is in quadrant II, because x is positive, but y is negative. C) To reflect across the y-axis, the x-coordinate will become opposite. (positive to negative, or negative to positive) Therefore, Point A' becomes the reflected point A', with the coordinates (-5,-3) Point A' is in quadrant II, because both x and y are negative.
