What are the similarities and differences between a sulfur atom and a sulfur ion?
Atoms are neutral and contain the same amount of protons as electrons. Ions are charged particles, either negatively or positively charged, because they have gained or lost electrons. This makes ions have a different amount of electrons than protons.
Separate names with a comma.
