What is the Hellenistic era?
The Hellenistic era is the history revolving around the time of the death of Alexander the Great and the rise of the Roman dominance. Greek culture had basically became dominant throughout the Mediterranean, which gives it the name Hellenistic, depriving from the root word Hellas which means Greece. During this age, there were also advances in philosophy, art, literature, and I do believe science as well.
