    When conducting an experiment, which of the following is generally true? Performing a larger number of experimental trials makes the results more dependable. It is unsafe to perform a large number of experimental trials. The number of trials performed does not affect the validity of the results. Performing a smaller number of experimental trials makes the results more dependable.

    "Performing a larger number of experimental trials makes the results more dependable" is correct. This allows for more time to determine if there are other variables affecting the results.
