FIITFIIT is one of the foundations of exercise that stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type. In this principle Fitness refers to how regular you exercise, Intensity refers to the level of the exercise you are doing, is it too hard or too easy, Time refers to the duration of your exercise and Type refers to the kinds of exercises you are doing. The FIIT applies to the development of a successful personal fitness program because it helps individuals choose the types of activities that will be enjoyable to them.
